I fully support the Corps of Engineers Recommended Plan for the Yazoo Backwater Project as outlined in the 2007 Final Report. The Recommended Plan will improve the quality of life by lowering the 100-year flood and shorten the duration and reduce the frequency of floods in the Mississippi South Delta. The project will also improve the environment by the large scale reforesting feature of the project.YES
